The Kids Menu (1080p) FULL DOCUMENTARY – Diet, Kids, Health & Wellness

THE KIDS MENU is a new documentary from the team that brought you ‘Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead.’ As filmmaker Joe Cross spent time traveling the world with his previous two films, he met thousands of people and one issue that came up again and again was what to do about the growing childhood obesity problem.
In THE KIDS MENU, Joe meets with experts, parents, teachers and kids, coming to the realization that childhood obesity isn’t the real issue, but rather a symptom of a bigger problem. The lack of knowledge of healthy foods. Lack of access to healthy and affordable options, and the influence of negative role models, whether a parent, teacher or even a celebrity. All of this seems to be a lot to overcome, but when empowered, kids often make the surprising choice of the healthier path. In this inspiring and hopeful documentary, we see amazing programs, inspiring individuals paving the way for change, but most of all – Kids, taking the lead in getting healthier options on their own menu.

What Causes (and Fixes) Leaky Gut | Dr. Daniel Amen

Struggling with mood swings, anxiety, depression, lack of focus, or memory problems? The reason may not be related to your psyche. The root cause just might lie in your gut. What does your gut have to do with your mental health? A lot! Emotional and psychological pain—nervousness, sadness, stress, and grief—are often expressed with gut distress. Here’s how it happens.
Did you know that your gastrointestinal tract is lined with about 100 million neurons? That’s more neurons than you have in your spinal cord or in your peripheral nervous system, which is why the gut is often referred to as the “second brain.” This nerve tissue is in direct communication with the brain inside your skull, which explains why you get butterflies before a big job interview or feel queasy when you’re upset.

American Wheat vs. European Wheat Products

Many people don’t experience bloating, digestive issues, or even weight gain when consuming European wheat vs. American wheat. Find out why.
I don’t recommend consuming wheat. But, let’s talk about the important differences between consuming wheat from America vs. wheat from Europe. When people consume wheat products in America, they often experience bloating, acne, inflammation, and lethargy. But you don’t see much of that from European wheat products. Why?
American wheat:
60% of the wheat is red wheat (it’s soft, fluffy, has a longer shelf life, and is higher in carbohydrates and protein)
It has more gluten (gluten causes a lot of problems in the gut)
Glyphosate is used (it affects the human microbiome)
Refined grain products are fortified with synthetic vitamins and iron (the type of iron used sits in the gut and can generate pathogenic bacteria)
European wheat:
It is mostly white wheat
It has less gluten
GMO foods and glyphosate are banned in many European countries
European countries like France, Denmark, and Sweden don’t fortify their grain products
